Our UK delivery service FedEx has given us the following news update regarding deliveries.
Wednesday March 13
Swindon depot (83)- route 14 driver has broken down but is being recovered. All deliveries, including premiums will be affected. Post codes covered are RG14/1/2/3/4/
Fareham depot (11)- have reported an accident on A27 eastbound causing delays to deliveries to PO10-22 post codes.
Tunbridge Wells depot (9/10)- have advised they are unable to supply eta's due to the backlog caused by the severe weather Aberdeen depot (62) has advised that due to heavy snowfall again last night all deliveries will be affected as many B roads and some minor A roads are closed.
Middlesbrough depot (55)- has advised that due to heavy snowfall overnight some roads and villages are inaccessible in the North Yorkshire Moors (YO21-22) with snow expected to continue throughout the day. Delays are also expected in DL8-DL15 and YO7 post code areas.
Glasgow East (60) has reported a serious RTA on M74 resulting in delayed premiums.
Chester depot (41) has reported that all deliveries to LL post codes will be delayed due to the snowfall
Tyne & Wear depot (156/56) has advise that all collections and deliveries in all post codes will be affected due to expected heavy snowfall.
Aberdeen & Inverness depots (62 &88) have reported several RTA's on A90 northbound resulting in late trailers to the depots. Due to heavy snowfall in the region all deliveries including premiums will be delayed.
