FedEx deliveries update - Monday
Our UK delivery service (FedEx) has given us the news update below.
Manchester (44) have advised that their vehicle covering route 12 has broken down, therefore deliveries to SK13 and SK15 postcodes will be affected.
Edinburgh (85) have advised that due to a serious RTA at Junction 8 of the M90 resulting in severe congestion, 7 of their vehicles are currently stationary, therefore deliveries to PH and DD postcodes will be affected.
Aberdeen (62) have reported heavy snowfall throughout their region over the weekend, therefore some deliveries will be affected.
Gretna (54) have reported severe ice and high level snow throughout their regions, therefore deliveries will be affected to CA, DG, TD and ML postcodes.

Friday - FedEx deliveries report
Our UK delivery service (FedEx) has given us the news update below.
Gretna (54), Edinburgh (85), Cumbernauld (60) and Glasgow (71/171) have reported heavy snowfall throughout their regions, therefore deliveries will be affected.
Swansea (98/28) have advised that Tata Steel based in Port Talbot are now not receiving deliveries until the New Year. Anything that needs to be delivered must have a contact name and mobile contact number.
Aberdeen (62) have advised that they still have snow and ice in the Grampian area with further heavy snow forecast today, therefore some deliveries will be affected.
Aberdeen (69) have advised that further ferry disruptions and cancellations are forecast for this week, therefore deliveries will be affected.
Isle of Man (53) have advised that further ferry disruptions and cancellations are forecast for this week, and the backlog as a result of the previous disruptions is currently one day behind.
Inverness (88/89) have advised that they have a fair bit of snow on all routes above 200m which will affect all deliveries (88 and 89). They also have quite a bit of ferry disruption due to high winds which will affect depot 88 deliveries.

Wednesday deliveries - FedEx update
Our UK delivery service (FedEx) has given us the news update below.
Launceston (16/72/81/172) have advised that due to the severe weather being experienced on the A30, some deliveries to TR postcodes may be affected.
Gloucester (26) have advised that due to the RTA on the M5 last night and its subsequent closure, widespread traffic congestion is being experienced, therefore deliveries to Gloucester and Cheltenham may be affected.
Belfast (64) have advised that due to adverse weather conditions the ferry sailings have been delayed, therefore any freight exiting Parkhouse and Marston Gate will incur a 24 hour delay.
Chorley (51) have advised that due to a RTA on the A6 into Lancaster resulting in severe congestions, deliveries to LA1 postcodes will be affected.
Littleborough (90) have advised that their bulk vehicle covering BD postcodes has broken down, therefore deliveries will be affected.
Exeter (15/115) have advised that they are currently experiencing heavy snowfall in North Devon, therefore deliveries to EX20, EX21, EX22, EX31–EX38 will be affected.
Channel Islands (4 & 6) have advised that due to severe weather today’s ferry sailing will be running at least eight hours behind schedule. Therefore all deliveries arriving by surface freight for Areas 4 & 6 will incur a 24 hour delay, this will remain constant for the remainder of the week.

We have been notified by the publisher that the paperback edition of this title is out of print and will not be reprinted. We have agreed terms with the publisher to offer the hardback edition at the paperback price – a saving of £3 off the RRP, for a limited time only.

Gretna (54) have advised that due to flooding and snow, deliveries and collections to CA, TD, DG and LA postcodes will be affected..
Aberdeen (62) have advised that they are experiencing high winds and very heavy rain in low lying areas and snow on the higher ground, therefore some deliveries will be affected.
Inverness (88/89) have reported that all ferry services have been suspended today due to storm force winds. All depot 88 (island) deliveries will be affected.

Adverse weather affecting deliveries - Thursday update
Our UK delivery service (FedEx) has given us the news update below.
Hornsey (96/196) have advised that due to a RTA and an incident resulting in heavy congestion being experienced, some deliveries to N4 postcodes will be affected.
Gretna (54) have advised that due to gale force winds and flooding, deliveries and collections to CA, TD, DG and LA postcodes will be affected.
Kilmarnock (59) have advised that due to the severe weather warning in Ayrshire, many schools have closed for the day, therefore deliveries will be affected.
Glasgow (71/171) have advised that they are anticipating severe winds and rain throughout their region today, which may result in localised flooding, therefore deliveries may be affected.
Aberdeen (62) have advised that they are experiencing high winds and very heavy rain in low lying areas and snow on the higher ground, therefore some deliveries will be affected.
Cumbernauld (60) have advised that they are anticipating severe winds of up to 100 mph in the area today which has already impacted on schools being closed along with the probability of many other businesses also closing early/not opening at all, there is also a warning of impending snow blizzards later today.some bridges are closing affecting the Helensburgh area deliveries and possibly others too. Therefore some deliveries will be affected.
